It’s cheap to buy, now.
You could buy a 4-5* new property with 3 bedrooms by the sea, with a shared pool, maybe even a gym and garage for the price of your 180,000GBP, 2 bedroom terraced house and still have 130,000GBP to play with, even after all your moving costs!!!!! Property prices particularly those of quality homes increase every year. This is due to increasing input costs, etc. and the fact that the availability of choice beach properties (with good surroundings, clear title, easy access etc.) reduces with the passage of time. Purchasing of homes abroad has become more accessible to every day people, fuelled by a healthy property market at home as well as the fact that many mortgage companies easily agree to finance the purchase of a holiday home.
Properties are easily rentable.
People almost always return to Goa. When visitors first come to Goa, they may choose hotels but the returning visitors prefer the freedom and prices of apartments and villas. Also, with increasing global business, long-term rental accommodation is required for companies who are on business here. Many people just come over to stay for months at a time for no other reason than to relax.

The economy is growing rapidly.
When any country is beginning to generate lots of business and is being recognized for that globally, it is most likely going to soar in the property sector simultaneously. This is evident in the rate of property development across the state and indeed, country. Prices now are increasing at a phenomenal rate but are still much cheaper compared to what you get in the UK and most areas across the Western part of the globe. The benefits of buying now would be realized very quickly and with little financial risk, especially if you compare the risk and financial burden attached with buying a UK property. In addition to the low risk, already evident, (have a look at ‘A typical buy’) there are many great deals going, particularly when you buy from the beginning of a project and at various stages of building. (If you get in early enough you can even customize your home, with respect to layout, flooring, colours, bathrooms, windows etc.) Even if you do not manage to convince yourself during the building of a project, it is still a bargain at the fully finished market price, as many buyers prefer a finished product before they invest, so there is still good reason for investment at that stage, as demand is so high and only increasing.

A Beautiful and safe place.
Apart from the obvious benefits of all year round sunshine and fresh sea breeze, Goa has become one of the best states in India if not the best, for living and bringing up a family or for retiring to and for enjoying the good and natural things in life. Cashew fruits and nuts, mangoes and breadfruit are falling off trees all over the place. The sky mirrors the sea below, complementing the beautiful long Goa beaches. Goa is unbelievably laid back compared to the rest of India, which can be a little frustrating if you are not aware of this before arriving here.
Friendly people.
Goans enjoy the ‘chilled factor’ and really do ‘go with the flow’, having siestas, sitting under swaying palm trees until their love of good food interferes with the relaxing, at which point eating, drinking and partying takes over. Whatever background people are from and whatever they have or don’t have, they are bright and cheery. Nothing is too much of a problem for Goans when it comes to doing things for their guests. You will be treated like personal guests by everyone. Anyone can feel at home here as the local people, hold on to their history, which is very mixed, which includes Portuguese, English and Indian heritage, most recently. It is therefore not only appealing to people of Indian origin but just about anyone.
